About Us

First Reformed Church is a congregation of Christ’s church, seeking to lift our hearts in worship of God, and living our lives in the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Our vision statement gives us direction: The cross is the heart of our message – Jesus saves; our mission is telling others; and our ministry is loving service.

We are a multi-generational congregation that appreciates our rich heritage of faith and which looks ahead to the ministry that God has called us to be engaged in for the sake of His Kingdom. We gather together from several small communities in worship, but go forth into the broader world in ministry, as God leads us.

First Reformed Church is a congregation of the Reformed Church in American, the oldest protestant denomination in North America with a continuous history, going back to 1628 when a congregation was established in New Amsterdam, better known today as New York City. Today we have congregations through the United States and we support mission work throughout the world
